New Office for the Eminence Homeowners Association
The Eminence Homeowners Association finally have an office!
Thanks to the generosity of Encik Hamka the president of the association for donating a used site office container. The container was put in place on 20 June 2013 and is located right next to the guard house. Re-furbishing work is planned to spruce-up the container before it can be used.
Current plan is to use the office to conduct regular committee meetings which in the past 2 years, those meetings were held at nearby mamak stalls. Future use has yet to be decided which the association would welcome any suggestion from residents that would benefit our taman.

Yellow box at Persiaran Lestari Perdana-Persiaran Putra Permai Perdana Junction
It is a known fact of life to residents of Eminence that crossing the Persiaran Lestari Perdana-Persiaran Putra Permai Perdana t-junction is a real challenge every week day morning. Those who needs to head towards Bukit Jalil will find cars from the direction of Persiaran Lestari Perdana stopping right in the middle of the junction, blocking traffic to or from Persiaran Putra Permai Perdana.
The Eminence Resident Association committee has raised to MPSJ requesting measures to be taken since late 2012. MPSJ has finally painted yellow box at the junction between May-June 2013.
Hopefully this helped improve traffic at the junction.

Land erosion along BPP 7
Land erosion has been detected along Jalan BPP 7 in late May 2013 - the point between roundabout and guard house. The erosion happened on the side of the road next to the large drain separating our Taman from the Jalan Putra Permai main road.
The incident has been reported to MPSJ and road repair works has commenced. As at 08 June 2013, foundation rocks can been seen laid. Further works expected from MPSJ. We are fortunate that it was detected early, else it may affect traffic going in and out of our Taman.

Barbed-wire and anti-climbing perimeter fencing
The RA committee has long requested the developer Tujuan Ehsan to improved security of our taman. After waiting for almost a year and with many repeated request/reminder, the developer has finally started to improve perimeter fencing surrounding our Taman with the installation of barbed-wires and anti-climbing wire fence.
The barbed-wires were installed on brick-wall fencing along Persiaran Putra Permai Perdana (the supposedly dead-end road leading to Shell station between Sovereign and Eminence), while anti-climbing fence were used to replace the normal wire fence at the playground behind BPP 7/9 .

Kudos to Tujuan Ehsan for finally heeding our call for a safer community !

The unofficial Eminence badminton center
The search for budding talent to continue the legacy of Datuk Lee Chong Wei has come to our taman. Here we found the plight of our children (and parents alike) in search of a good badminton court to hone their skills. As the saying goes, journey of a thousand miles begins with the first badminton court, thats in our case.
Two gentlemen from BPP 7/9 came to the rescue, Mr. Mong and Mr. Spencer Wee decided to roll-up their sleeves to build a badminton court. Moments later...taa..daa...a section of the road along BPP 7 near the back gate has been miraculously transformed into a ahem...almost world class badminton court. Ok...I am exaggerating but indeed it's a working court complete with poles and net.
Thank you Mark & Spencer...uh..uh I mean Mong and Spencer.
